Colorful Cloud

 My father gave me the name Wanwen (婉雯) because he wanted me to be a quiet and knowledgeable woman. At that time, I had never paid attention to the meaning of my name. The only thing I knew was all the women from my generation have a Wan (婉) in their names. When I started studying in Mexico, a lot of friends asked about the meaning of my name, and I had no idea about that. After asking the meaning of their names, I started getting curious about the meaning of my name. I went to ask my father, and at the beginning he was thinking about it deeply, or maybe he had no idea either. However, a few hours later, he told me that when my mother was in labor, it was raining. When he heard me cry, the sky stopped raining and there was a very beautiful cloud with multiple colors. Therefore, he thought that colorful cloud is the meaning of my name. Since then, I will say with pride that my name means colorful clouds, and I really like my name. The problem is that it is hard to pronounce, and it feels bad when somebody makes fun of me when they say my name. For the same reason, I prefer people call me by my last name Su (苏) or nickname KiKi. I named myself as KiKi because of my favorite singer. He is named MaJiaqi (马嘉祺) so I picked the last letter of his name Qi (祺) that sounds the same as Ki, For this reason, my English name is KiKi. By the way, I feel very regretful that I have totally opposite characters that my father had wished me to have. He wants me to be quiet and full of knowledge, but I am loud, lively, and not that full of knowledge yet.
